VE organized a day of Path (Sikh prayers) and Langar (community kitchen) at its Noida office in May 2014. The Saturday afternoon air was filled with the melodious rendering of the Sikh prayers by the priests within the office premises. After the prayers, the langar was opened to the public. Large cauldrons filled with delicious chole and halwa and freshly deep-fried puris were served by the employees and staff of the company, who had volunteered for the noble cause, to the masses of people who kept pouring in all through the day.
