Out of the three key categories of the Emerge Awards, VirtualEmployee.com has been selected in the Emerge Start-Up category (the other two being Emerge Innovation and Emerge Growth).

Such recognition by the premier software trade body of the country is a feather in the cap of any start-up company. Companies who made it to the selected list underwent a strict evaluation process. Basic criteria included revenue growth rates for last 3 years, revenue contribution, average revenue per employee etc. in order to make it to the preliminary shortlisting round of companies in each category.

The shortlisted companies were then objectively evaluated (through a mathematical model) on a number of parameters including financials, growth, market differentiator, customers, market visibility, and distribution/ GTM.

The evaluation on above parameters was used to come up with a net score for individual companies that ultimately determined whether or not they would be shortlisted in each category.
